“Digital Television Systems” takes the lead in social efficiency policy

Public company NPO “DTVS”, a factory of Technopolis GS innovation cluster, has taken the first place at the “Russian organization of high social efficiency” contest. The regional competition was held in Kaliningrad. “Digital Television Systems” won the first prize in the nomination titled “For the reduction of occupational accidents and occupational diseases in the production sector organizations”. The winners will be invited for the official awarding ceremony at the government of the Kaliningrad region. GS Nanotech, also a plant within Technopolis GS, that was nominated in the same category, took the fourth place.

“Digital Television Systems” is taking preventive measures to stop injuries and reduce disease incidence of the personnel. Safety engineer on a regular basis provides the workers with the precautions that have to be taken during the working process. Workbench setup meets the Russian legislation requirements in the field of labor protection. The lighting and climate control is performed. There are also routings that regulate working conditions. Workplaces are annually assessed. All the measures taken have enabled “Digital Television Systems” to reduce the accident rate to zero in the past two years. There is a medical center operating at the factory that provides preventive healthcare, organizes seasonal vaccination and other activity.
