Through-hole technology (THT)

Through-hole technology (THT) is used to insert electronic components into holes in a printed circuit board. Parts are soldered from the opposite side of the board, and manual or automatic wave soldering is used. This method is commonly used for assembling components with high electric power.

Through-hole technology (THT)

Our THT shop includes Delta 3 & 5 wave soldering lines as well as six lines for the manual installation of pin components. When using wave soldering, component pins and the bottom of the PCB are briefly immersed in molten solder, which is supplied in the form of a wave. The solder wets the contacts and penetrates deep into the board so that the components attach to it.

DTVS’s THT line has a total capacity of 85,000 components per hour.
